Description:
NXT GIG is currently seeking skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Drivers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating forklifts to safely move, locate, and transfer products within the warehouse. You will also assist with inventory management, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift operator license, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to transport packages and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers with care.
- Ensure that all products are properly stored and organized for easy access.
- Conduct routine safety checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Assist with inventory counts and proper documentation of movements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator's license or certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and warehouse operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Effective communication skills and a team player attitude.
