Cedar & Stone Woodfired Pizza Bar is seeking a Sous Chef - one with the skills and experience to assist the venue achieve its Vision. The individual can work within our kitchen team led by our Head Chef to assist in running an efficient hospitality operation, ensure exceptional Customer experience and deliver sound financial performance.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of six years experience as a professional chef, is energetic and can work in a busy, high volume restaurant. You are food safety qualified (HACCP supervisor), are an excellent communicator, display professional presentation/grooming and have a positive attitude.

General Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to help promote Patron satisfaction through the delivering of high food standards and efficient catering operations.
• The ability to assist design and execute menus for breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Generate ideas that will build our reputation as an unforgettable Dining experience.
• Direct catering efficiently to exceed budget.
• Assist to manage the kitchen team including recruitment, training, development and leadership. This includes the maintenance of a strong culture.
• Thoroughly assist in all WH&S training needs and procedures.
• Assist with rostering and ordering.
