This is a 12-month contract with the opportunity to move into a long-term position company wide.

As a Commercial Property Claims Officer, you will be managing a portfolio of commercial property natural hazard claims, predominately from recent wild weather events. You will take ownership of the claim from lodgement to finalisation whilst delivering a Best-in-Market claims experience to our customers. You will be dedicated to helping our customers get back to focusing on their business after a loss, whilst providing outstanding customer service and claims management solutions.

To set you up for success, you will be supported through an extensive onboarding program.

What you’ll do:

  • Managing inbound and outbound calls from customers, suppliers and intermediaries (including brokers) relating to commercial property claims
  • Case managing a portfolio of claims post lodgement to finalisation with accountability for delivering exceptional customer service and managing claim cost
  • Providing timely claim updates to customers, intermediaries and claims stakeholders
  • Reviewing reports to identify next steps for the claim
  • Communicating with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Using product disclosure statements to determine claims acceptance
  • Resolving internal and external issues and complaints
  • Recording accurate claims information into claims management systems
