About the opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of Neonatal/paediatric care. What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. Most importantly, you are committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
The "Hospital in the Home" program represents a pioneering approach that allows pediatric patients, especially neonates, to receive essential medical care in their own homes. This model ensures families are supported through the expertise of paediatric/neonatal RNs, who closely monitor, treat, and care for these infants in a familiar environment.
As the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) , you will play a pivotal role in this program, ensuring that staff receive the necessary support and education in best practice techniques. Your responsibilities will include identifying training needs and developing educational programs tailored to meet the demands of this rapidly growing service. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, you will enhance the quality of care provided, ultimately benefiting both the healthcare team and the families they serve.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
• A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
• The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
• Experience within Nursing Education
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
• A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
• Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
• Cert 4 Teaching and Assessment
• Post-graduate Qualification in Paediatrics/Neonatal
