In recognition of the complexities and the critical role the Principal at Mareeba State High School plays in shaping the future of its students, this position is remunerated at a Level 9 salary through the special purpose classification uplift for a period of two years.

Mareeba State High School is a 7-12 secondary school with an enrolment of approximately 800 students. Mareeba State High School is located only a short drive away from the Cairns Central Business District.
