What is the role? We are currently looking for a Full-Time Sous Chef to join our Kingpin venue in Norwood! Reporting into the Head Chef, you will be responsible for delivering all aspects of high-volume food preparation and presentation and supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day operation of the venue. Key responsibilities of the role include: Coach your Funsquad by modelling the importance of the guest experience and setting expectations Ensure a fun yet safe environment for your squad and guests ensuring your department meets the safety requirements of TEEG and that the kitchen meets all aspects of food safety & quality control Work towards delivering on targets through efficient ordering, identify opportunities and execute cost control measures with your Head Chef Lead the day-to-day kitchen operation, complete or delegate daily duties
Skills or Experience Required Relevant experience in a hospitality setting Proven guest service focus Proven leadership experience Certificate in hospitality, retail, catering or food would be highly regarded Holds or is willing to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
