Role overview
Due to our growing client base and increasing project workload in our Procurement service line, several exciting opportunities have opened up. These roles will be part of our procurement consulting team, responsible for delivering large scale procurement strategy and cost-reduction projects. The positions offer the opportunity to travel interstate and internationally, working with our clients on high-profile transformation projects.
Role responsibilities
- Develop procurement strategies.
- Complete cost reduction opportunity assessments based on client spend data and contracts.
- Manage cost reduction projects such as strategic sourcing, direct negotiations, and process improvements.
- Work in project delivery teams to optimise and upskill client procurement functions.
- Manage delivery teams, which will depend on level of skills and experience.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
- Develop business cases for various procurement transformation requirements
- Contribute to our growing digital procurement capability.
- Support leaders of the business in sales, marketing, systems, and business development.
- Contribute to the high performing, flexible, and inclusive team culture.
These roles require a willingness to travel across Australia.
About you
To be successful in this role you will be highly analytical, focused, and goal orientated.
- Degree qualified in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or similar.
- Must have experience in managing a team in high complexity projects /demonstrate the qualities to do so.
- Consulting experience required 2+ years (Ideally in Procurement but not essential).
- Desire to have a career path in procurement consulting within a specialist firm.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data and quickly identify opportunities.
- High level of drive and a team player.
- Understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and systems.
These roles require a willingness to travel across Australia.
