The Role:
Working closely with the Supervisor and Manager you will be responsible for providing a large range of business advisory services and responsible for the following:
- Preparation of financial statements across all entities.
- Providing a range of business advisory services to your portfolio of clients.
- Conducting research on taxation matters and providing advice to clients.
- Reviewing all tax compliance work for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & HNWI, work papers and management reports.
- Evaluation of Division 7A, CGT & FBT obligations.
- Develop and maintain excellent support and communication with clients, identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
- Work collaboratively with the team, to support each other and to grow and advance our business.
- Ensure jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines.
- Liaise with other Government bodies on client matters.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a professional accounting environment.
- Qualifications: CA/CPA qualified or in the process of obtaining.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Client Focus: Ability to maintain and develop client relationships.
- Professional Development: Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and work ethic.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Workflow Management: Skills in workflow management, prioritization, and organization.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Xero.
