South Coast Radiology is seeking a Clerical In Charge (CIC) at our Day Surgery & Specialist Centre in Tweed Heads to l ead and inspire our Radiology Administration Team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This state-of-the-art, comprehensive site offers a full range of imaging modalities, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, 3D Mammography, and Procedures. As the CIC, you will work closely with the Radiographer In Charge (RIC) to foster a supportive and high-performing team culture. Your role will be pivotal in mentoring and developing staff to provide outstanding patient care and seamless administrative support.
This full-time on site position offers a Monday - Friday schedule between 7.30am-5.30pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead & Inspire - Drive a positive, collaborative, and engaged team culture, empowering staff to succeed.
- Mentor & Develop - Provide ongoing training, development, and professional growth opportunities for the site reception team.
- Performance Excellence - Ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met while upholding high service standards.
- Operational Efficiency - Manage appointment diaries effectively to optimise workflow and patient experience.
- Inventory & Resources - Oversee procurement and ensure essential office supplies are well-managed.
- Collaborate & Support - Work closely with the RIC, Administration Services Manager, and Clerical Manager to align goals and enhance site performance.
- Uphold Professional Standards - Ensure the practice maintains a welcoming, professional, and organised environment.
- Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting - Use your experience and leadership skills to navigate challenges and drive continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU ♀️
- Experienced & Knowledgeable - Prior experience in radiology administration is essential.
- Leadership Driven - Previous leadership experience is highly desirable, with a focus on motivating and mentoring teams.
- Tech-Savvy - Familiarity with RIS platforms, ideally Karisma, is preferred.
- Billing Expertise - Strong understanding of Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and inpatient billing processes is essential.
- Customer-Centric - Passion for providing exceptional service to patients and referrers.
- Strong Communicator - Ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively across the business.
- Detail-Oriented & Organised - Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multitasking skills.
