How will I help?
The Technical Business Analyst plays a key role in driving the achievement of Westpac's strategy by collaborating with stakeholders to elicit, analyse, validate, and manage requirements for system, business process, policy, and data changes. Additionally, the role is responsible for managing HR and Payroll technology requests, including intake, prioritisation, and tracking.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage HR and Payroll-related technology requests, including intake, prioritisation, and tracking.
- Organise working group meetings with business and technology stakeholders to align on initiatives.
- Support requirements gathering to facilitate accurate estimation and delivery.
- Document and analyse business requirements and solution options for effective decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management and Communication.
- Requirements Analysis and Lifecycle management.
- Best Practice methodology and Risk Management.
- Manage Front Door technology requests and oversee dashboard reporting.
- Coordinate and facilitate working group meetings.
- Contribute to and support the Discovery and Ideation phases of deliverables.

What do I need?
Essential:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Technical or Business Analyst, with a focus on end-to-end project delivery, requirements documentation, and problem analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data reporting.
Desirable:
- Proven experience in the financial industry.
- Expertise in the implementation and management of HRIS or Payroll Systems.
- Strong background in delivering reporting and analytics.
