About the role
UGL’s Transport Major Projects division is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects. As a result, we have significant opportunities for those with railway signalling & communications competencies in design, installation, T&C, integration to join the team at all role levels from Trades through to Senior Project Managers.
About You
You will thrive in a technical environment and are able to solve a problem. Ideally you will have:
· Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or a cert IV in Railway Signalling
· Railway Signalling or Railway Communications experience in design, delivery, T&C, integration in major projects
· Experienced with delivering major Rail Infrastructure Rail Systems/ Signalling/Communications.
· Experienced in conventional signalling and/or ETCS, CBTC, Communications
· Excellent communications skills both written & oral with the ability to negotiate and influence
· Ability to work both independently and within a flexible team environment
· Competencies in Queensland Rail preferred
· Australian Drivers licence
