About the opportunity:

The Enterprise Delivery Management Office (EDMO) Analyst works closely with the EDMO Manager to support collaboration with Enterprise Portfolio Partners and Project Managers across the enterprise change portfolio to help ensure successful delivery of programs/projects. The EDMO services include supporting; performance reporting, risk/issue/dependency management, benefit and cost management and assisting with tooling queries.

The EDMO Analyst role will act as the key point of contact for projects and programs across the enterprise change portfolio to provide quality assurance and support to ensure successful initiation and execution of projects and delivery of related benefits. The EDMO Analyst will support the EDMO Manager in maintaining the SAPN Project Delivery Framework and provide feedback to the EDMO Manager to help ensure portfolio management tools remain consistent and useful.

This role works in collaboration with Enterprise Portfolio Partners and Project Managers providing key portfolio performance insights to help guide decision making with project sponsors and key business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Ensure project delivery framework and governance controls (planning, risks and issues, change management, lessons learnt etc.) processes and procedures are adhered to across projects / programs in the enterprise change portfolio
  • Provide support to Enterprise Portfolio Partners to enable Problem Framing and Initiative Shaping that will feed into enterprise portfolio prioritisation and planning processes
  • Identify and monitor variances, trends and corrective actions across programs and projects
  • Act as key point of contact for Enterprise Portfolio Partners and project teams to provide guidance and support to enable the active management of dependencies between projects/programs across the portfolio
  • Ensure the resource management process is communicated, understood and adhered to by all teams IT to enable effective resource planning and management for Ops and Project Delivery
  • Help support the induction and ongoing training for PMs regarding SA Power Networks’ project delivery methodology and its application
  • Be the go-to contact for PM’s on day-2-day project administration questions and queries
  • Work closely with EDMO Manager to provide direction to the project administrator team
  • Contribute towards the continuous improvement of portfolio/project management frameworks, processes, and systems.
  • Contribute to a culture that promotes elevated levels of collaboration and innovation.

About you

To be successful in this position you will need to be a dedicated and detail-oriented professional with a strong background in project management and portfolio analysis. With a passion for ensuring successful project delivery, excel in performance reporting and risk management.

Other criteria include:

  • Degree in Project management, and or the equivalent levels of skills and knowledge gained through experience
  • Experience in program/project environments
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Business Management, and or the equivalent levels of skills and knowledge gained through experience
