Description:
- Design and implement secure networking solutions to meet organisational objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and management teams to determine networking needs.
- Develop and maintain network architecture diagrams and documentation.
- Identify potential issues and proactively propose strategies for network optimisation.
- Manage network-related projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Provide network support to internal teams and assist in troubleshooting network-related problems.
- Ensure network security measures are in place and update them as necessary.
- Stay updated on emerging network technologies and trends in the public sector.
Requirements:
A successful Network Architect should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in network architecture, design, and implementation minimum of 5 years
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and tools (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Prisma)
- Experience with Cloud Networking
- CCNP Certified or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex network issues.
- Exceptional communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Conditions:
