About the ANZ Plus Graduate Program
ANZ Plus is ANZ’s new digital proposition for Australian Retail customers, providing them with the tools, insights and support to improve their financial wellbeing. The mission of the team behind this new services is to put the most useful features, tools and insights in the hands of our customers so that they can achieve their financial goals, be it owning their own home, travelling overseas or just purchasing the latest iPhone.
This team is unlike any other; imagine being at the ground level of a start-up but knowing that you have the backing of a big 4 bank behind you. You’ll be working in a team that is building and improving the fastest growing digital bank in Australia. “Upon completing a double degree in Business and IT at the University of Technology Sydney, I aspired to pursue a career as a small business banker. Despite my academic background, I harboured a fear of coding and STEM-related tasks. Throughout university I aimed to minimise my involvement in coding due to this apprehension. However, upon joining the ANZx Graduate Program, I made a deliberate effort to confront this fear and embrace learning how to code, even if it meant facing failure. The program offered an ideal platform for me to delve into this challenge with unwavering support from managers, colleagues, and peers. Through the rotation structure of the program and managers guidance, I not only overcame my fears but also honed my skills and discovered the area of work that truly motivates me”.
