As a result of their continued growth, they are seeking a determined and driven Credit Officer to ensure outstanding debt is paid in a timely manner. Based in Morningside with onsite parking, their dynamic credit team is searching for a like-minded professional to join them in helping achieve record results. You will be working in a friendly and relaxed environment; the management team is approachable and there are plenty of perks on offer.

Reporting through to a Credit Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Managing a portfolio of commercial accounts nationwide working on 7 day trading terms.
- Collection of overdue commercial accounts making 50-60 outbound calls per day.
- Reconciling client accounts.
- Handling phone and email queries.
- Resolution of customer queries and liaising with internal staff to resolve queries
- Escalation of issues as required.
- Weekly and month end reporting as per business requirements.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 12 months collections experience working in a consumer or commercial high volume, fast paced credit environment.
- Experience working within the FMCG/distribution sectors is advantageous but not essential.
- Comfortable with making 45-50 outbound collection calls with a customer service focus.
- Ability to resolve credit related matters quickly and efficiently.
- Enjoy working in a fast paced team environment working to targets and achieving goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
