We are currently looking for a Customer Service Superstar to work in a full time permanent capacity for a leading Australian Insurance brand based in Sydney CBD.In this role, you will be working as part of the Member Services department, where you will be providing high-level customer service to existing members regarding health insurance enquiries via phone and email.
Your duties include:
- Ensuring service expectations of members are met in a fast-paced environment
- Having consultative conversations with members
- Managing a high volume of customer service queries via phone and email
- Adhering to complex compliance and legislative requirements
- Understanding a high volume of information in relation to the health insurance industry as well as understanding company products, processes and systems to ensure efficient and effective answering of member queries.
- Participating in coaching and training required to keep knowledge and skills up to date

- You will work in the office full time for the first few months to ensure you are set up for success, then transition to a 50% hybrid work from home and office which is located in Sydney’s CBD.

- Hours are Monday - Friday on a rotating roster between 8.30am - 6pm – total 38 hours per week.
Skills & attributes required:
- Demonstrated customer service experience either face to face or over the phone
- Previous experience in a corporate environment
- Previous experience in Insurance/ Banking/ Finance is a highly desirable, but not essential
- Ability to have consultative conversations and build strong relationships
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to understand complex policies and navigate multiple systems at once
- Effective questioning and active listening skills are essential
- A can-do positive attitude and a strong customer focus is key!
