Painter (Full Trade)

Description:

Achieve Group is seeking experienced Painters to work with our client on their Rapid Accommodation and Apprenticeship Centre project located in Portsmith. These positions are an ASAP start and will run until 30th June 2025.

About the Role:

You will be painting new modular homes with timber frame construction, and we require skilled painters who are experienced in working on new build projects, particularly on timber-framed homes. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in painting both interior and exterior surfaces, using various techniques to ensure a high-quality finish.

Painter Background & Skills:

• Proven experience working as a painter, particularly in residential or new build construction projects
• Ability to prepare surfaces, including sanding, priming, and applying paint or coatings
• Proficient in using different painting techniques, such as brushing, rolling, and spraying
• Knowledge of various paints, stains, and finishes suitable for both interior and exterior surfaces
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality, even finishes
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and follow safety protocols

Requirements:

• Construction safety induction card
• Steel cap boots
• Hand tools
