Responsibilities:The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for:
- Manage, coordinate and guide Registry capability team to deliver IT managed support services within contracted SLAs.
- Collaboration with clients and relevant stakeholders to ensure requirements are gathered accurately and communicated clearly.
- Ensure root cause analysis is performed and actioned on issues to drive continuous improvement.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, support processes and reports to drive efficiencies in providing support services.
- Collaboration with wider technology team (such as engineering team) to ensure elite delivery of IT support services and required outcomes.
- Manage and mentor Registry capability team/direct reports to maximise efficiency, productivity and individual performance.
- Guide team to create and maintain support artefacts.
- Contribute to the onboarding of new managed support services.
- Adherence to info sec policies and procedures.
- 5+ years’ experience in Superannuation/Financial Services industry or IT Managed support services.
- Demonstrated technical experience in Registry applications delivering outstanding IT support services using technical and/or management qualifications.
- One or more major Australian Superannuation Registry systems, such as Acurity, SuperB, Calibre or Capital (Acurity preferred)
- Database programming languages including SQL.
- Business analysis skills.
- Demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication with the ability to present to stakeholders and communicate complex issues simply.
- Ability to build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, with strong planning and time management skills.
- Previous experience in incident management and management of SLAs.
- Strong technical skills to drive optimum delivery outcomes.
- Great understanding of the business information needs of the organisation, particularly as it relates to the Australian Superannuation environment.
