About the Company:

Our client is an expanding global business offering market leading design engineering, development and manufacturing of modular raised access floors for commercial facilities and data centre infrastructure solutions including airflow panels, structural ceilings and security caging.

About the Role:

As Regional Engineering Director, you will champion the strategic direction of the project, product design, engineering and R&D teams, upholding their world class standards and reputation, while balancing sustainability, innovation, cost and resources. As an influential professional in a position of leadership, you will foster a culture of cross functional collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute engineering strategies in line with business objectives, focused on long term sustainability, growth and innovation, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and talent.
  2. Champion cross-functional collaboration to integrate engineering insights into business strategy, enhancing product offerings and market competitiveness.
  3. Collaborate with executive leadership to define engineering priorities and ensure the alignment of resources with key business objectives.
  4. Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), lead the evaluation of new tools and technologies to enhance team capabilities, drive innovation initiatives to ensure product offerings are aligned with market requirements.
  5. Represent the engineering and R&D functions at divisional and group-level discussions, contributing to decision-making and driving alignment with global objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Master’s degree in engineering Structural, Mechanical or a related discipline. An MBA will be highly regarded.
  2. Extensive experience in engineering leadership roles managing budgets, project delivery and procurement in a product development or manufacturing environment.
  3. Proven experience delivering complex engineering projects while managing multiple priorities across multiple sites in a fast-paced industry.
  4. Strong communication, leadership and team building skills, with demonstrated experience leading diverse teams of professionals, promoting cross functionality and collaboration.
  5. Extensive technical expertise and in-depth knowledge of safety standards and their application in engineering and manufacturing contexts.
