Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Scheduling Supervisor to take ownership of the scheduling and rostering process for the Technology team on a 12-month contract . This role is responsible for coordinating event setups, operations, and pack-downs while proactively managing workforce availability, skill levels, and health and safety requirements.
THE ROLE!
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Plan and schedule team member requirements for the Technology team (Audio Visual and Information Technology) to optimise workforce allocation.
- Ensure accurate entry of Momentus operational scripting for each event in consultation with the Production team.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure AV scheduling aligns with broader business needs.
- Manage Humanforce data entry and roster the team in accordance with the GCCEC Enterprise Agreement, legislation, availability, and required skill levels.
- Oversee team member allocation, ensuring availability, fatigue management, and shift turnaround times comply with health, safety, and well-being requirements.
- Maintain accurate data entry within Humanforce, verifying timesheets daily, resolving discrepancies, recording appropriate shift types, and ensuring payroll deadlines are met.
- Assist the AV Operations Manager in maintaining a skills matrix and updating relevant information in Humanforce.
ABOUT YOU!
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience in workforce scheduling, rostering, or event coordination (preferred).
- Knowledge of scheduling software, workforce management, and enterprise agreements.
- Familiarity with AV, IT, or event operations (desirable).
- Proficiency in Humanforce, Momentus, and Microsoft Office 365 (or willingness to learn).
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A high level of attention to detail to ensure accurate rostering, documentation, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- The ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
