Dreamworld Life Sciences is one of the largest native wildlife parks in South East Queensland, home to hundreds of animals, including the second-largest koala population, endangered species and some of the biggest and best thrill rides on the planet, our worlds present a unique and diverse opportunity to welcome a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse to provide effective leadership, management, and support for our Life Sciences team in the next exciting phase of our journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily animal care in hospital, quarantine, and keeper settings
- Veterinary nursing for various species
- Record keeping, administration, and management of veterinary resources
- Physically demanding tasks, including animal handling
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Experience with Australian native wildlife
- Strong communication skills for reporting and interacting with people from all backgrounds
- Flexibility with working hours and weekends
- Manual driver’s license required
