About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for managing end to end recruitment at the site level, ensuring the timely hiring of high quality candidates while aligning with Palm Lake Care’s overall talent strategy. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop local talent pipelines, and enhance employer branding efforts.
In addition to recruitment, the Talent Acquisition Partner plays a key role in revamping the onboarding process, implementing structured probation check-ins, and conducting employee focus groups to improve retention and engagement. This role collaborates with the centralised HR team to ensure compliance, reporting, and process alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop local talent pipelines
- Manage job postings, screen candidates, and conduct interviews
- Coordinate selection processes, offer negotiations, and pre-employment checks
- Oversee and enhance onboarding programs for new hires
- Implement structured probation check-ins and employee engagement initiatives
- Develop relationships with local training institutions and recruitment agencies
- Conduct focus groups to gather employee feedback and improve retention strategies
About You
We’re looking for a proactive and driven recruiter who is passionate about the aged care sector and understands the importance of hiring the right people for the right roles.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment, ideally within healthcare or aged care
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to support hiring managers
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance and best practices
- Experience in onboarding, retention strategies, and employee engagement
- High level of initiative, adaptability, and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in ATS and HR software
- A current National Police Check and a valid driver’s licence
