About you:
You will possess:
- Knowledge and capability to deliver contemporary and innovative services in the disability sector gained through applicable experience training, education and experience.
- Extensive practical experience providing support to people with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to engage with, motivate, train and mentor teams to ensure delivery of high quality supports.
- Sound written and verbal communication skills including the ability to undertake reporting, consultation, mediation and produce correspondence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong and mutually beneficial internal and external relationships
- Problem solving, consultation and negotiation skills.
Let us tell you about the role:
As the Practice Leader you will supervise a team of support professionals that deliver client quality of life outcomes. This position facilitates high quality support through observation, modelling, coaching, fostering team work between support professionals.
This role will lead the direct provision of services with a specific focus on building team capability to achieve the objectives of the organisation in a manner consistent and supportive of the organisation’s strategic objections, values and purpose.
What is essential?
- Relevant industry qualification recognised by Possability and/or relevant industry experience.
- Experience or demonstrated understanding of leading and supervising a team to achieve required strategic and operational outcomes.
