If you are a motivated person, with a passion for organisation and administration, then Coastal Psychology are keen to talk with you. They have a permanent full-time role on offer as a Practice Manager for their Devonport Clinic to start in March 2025

The position

The Practice Manager is a pivotal role within our Allied Health organisation, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the practice, managing clinical and administrative staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. This position requires a dynamic and proactive approach to management, aiming to enhance our service offerings and maintain a supportive, client-friendly work environment.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Supervise and lead both clinical and administrative staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
  • Efficiently manage clinician schedules and diaries.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the practice.
  • Maintain and improve quality service provision.
  • Address client and staff feedback to enhance service delivery.
  • Engage with external stakeholders including Medicare and NDIS.

What you need:

  • Must have experience in Allied Health or a similar medical setting.
  • Familiarity with Medicare initiatives and the NDIS is beneficial.
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Proven experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in technology and information systems.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business or practice management are advantageous.
  • National Police Check clearance.
  • TAS Working with Vulnerable People Card.

The organisation

Coastal Psychology, working in conjunction with their sister site in Burnie, is an innovative practice comprising of 14 practitioners, headed by Bernadette Smith and Claire Jensen. Coastal Psychology provide high quality client centred services, delivering various treatment options to treat a range of mental health conditions and life issues.

  • Permanent position, flexible hours may be negotiated.
  • $35 - $38 per hour + Super (based on experience).
