Seize an exceptional opportunity to elevate your nursing career by joining SA Health's dedicated Drug and Alcohol Services unit within the Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN). Based in the vibrant Adelaide CBD, we are seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN/M1 and RN/M2) to contribute to our comprehensive substance abuse treatment program.
About the role:
As a member of our dynamic and supportive team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive care to individuals struggling with substance abuse and mental health challenges. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to improving the lives of our clients, guiding them towards recovery and long-term well-being.
In this multifaceted role, you will collaborate with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver high-quality, client-centred care. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, administering medications, and providing ongoing support and education to clients and their families.
About you:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
