Description:
In this Client Director position, reporting to the State Executive you will;
- Have strong business development and relationship management skills, professionally representing the business in direct client interactions as well as in associated business, community, and social networks.
- Undertake management of a select number of our most valuable customer relationships.
- Support the team with the expansion of their portfolios via both organic growth and the acquisition of new customers.
- Support and refine strategies and initiatives to deliver value and insight to our customers and the broader health market in SA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing and developing a portfolio of customers operating across the diverse health segment
- Identifying new business and referral opportunities and establishing, developing, and utilising internal and external networks to meet objectives
- Using your experience and knowledge to help clients grow their businesses and support their customers.
- Undertaking risk assessment and decisioning complex lending requests within your own Delegated Lending Authority.
- Preparing and submitting for approval of consumer and business lending proposals with relevant analysis of industry and business information.
- Collaborating with internal specialists and partners to best serve your customers.
- Identifying customer goals and aspirations through quality conversations and face to face meetings.
- Coaching, monitoring, supervision of direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles and adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
What you’ll bring :
- Previous experience within Private banking, Business banking, Asset Management, Markets and/or Investment banking.
- Previous experience and exposure to the health care industry, preferably in SA.
- Proven experience with business development/acquisition of new clients.
- Sound understanding of banking products and services.
- People leadership and management experience preferred.
