Description:

As the Managing Director - APAC, you will be a key member of the global leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing the regional strategy to establish the business as the environmental consultancy of choice. You will lead a high-performing team, drive business growth both organically and through acquisitions, and ensure seamless integration with the company's global capabilities.

Your role will focus on:

  • Developing and executing strategies to expand market share and build strong client relationships.
  • Leading and growing a high-calibre team in a competitive market.
  • Overseeing company and financial performance, business development, and operational excellence across the firms.
  • Establishing the company as a leader in environmental policy and innovation across the region and supporting its growth natioanlly.
  • Driving collaboration across global and local teams to leverage synergies and best practices.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will be an accomplished leader with a proven track record in a fast-paced consulting environment. You will have a strong history of driving growth and performance, underpinned by a commercial mindset and hands-on experience with P&L accountability, budgeting, and achieving growth targets. You will have a deep understanding of the environmental consulting landscape across APAC, particularly in Australia, is essential, along with a well-established network of clients and stakeholders. You will be adept at leading high-performing teams, fostering engagement, and cultivating a strong workplace culture. Your success will be driven by your strategic, operational, and commercial acumen, as well as your ability to communicate effectively, negotiate complex agreements, and manage key stakeholder relationships. Lastly, your experience working within a matrix structured global organisation and leveraging international best practices will be also be instrumental in delivering sustainable success in this role.
