About The Role
We currently have a role available for an Electrician with maintenance experience to join our team. In this role you will execute planned and unplanned maintenance activities within an operational mining and minerals processing environment. Your work will contribute to optimal production, equipment performance and availability, as well as improving reliability and ensuring that we are well placed for future growth within our operations.
Please note this position is based at Olympic Dam, operating on a 7/7 day/night roster pattern roster arrangement, with residential, DIDO or FIFO (from Adelaide) options available.
In this role you will:
- Comply to and consistently follow the standards and procedures to enable you to work safely and effectively every day
- Carry out unplanned and planned routine maintenance, inspections, and checks to a range of equipment, and/or electrical networks
- Maintain a high level of housekeeping in all work areas
- Assist in resolution of electrical issues affecting equipment performance and availability
- Review and update maintenance schedule plans and equipment history
- Provide electrical trade skills to perform care maintenance tasks within the area, to ensure overall reliability and stability
- Develop and revise operating and maintenance procedures
- Communicate plant status to appropriate departments
About You
Our successful candidate will:
• Be able to demonstrate the confidence to lead by example, hold yourself and others accountable and coach others in Safety Leadership.
• Currently hold an Electrical Trade qualification or hold a degree qualification in a related Electrical discipline.
• Hold South Australian Electrical Licence or validity to acquire.
• Have exposure to Maintenance Execution environments as a supervisor or leader, is preferred.
• Have an understanding of statutory compliance requirements.
• Be confident to work across a range of disciplines and levels to foster mutually beneficial and cohesive relationships.
• Be quality focused with a drive to achieve results for the team.
• Have the ability to balance multiple incoming priorities and effectively deliver on customer expectations.
