The Role
With their growing Sydney team, they are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer / Team Leader as their next key hire. Currently, civil works are delivered by their QLD office and so they wish to add this capability to Sydney and to build and grow a team under your leadership and guidance.
You have an open door policy to the owners of the business who are nimble and able to make decisions quickly with consultation with yourself. They want you to succeed and will do everything that they can to support you in being successful.
This is a rare opportunity to fast-track yourself into a Senior Leadership role within the business and to work towards a Director level position.
The Responsibilities

• You will work with the structural team, the directors, the QLD civil team and any networks and contacts that you have to establish, develop and grow the NSW civil engineering department
• You will be given autonomy to do this in the way that you see best and to reap the rewards of your success with the support of the Directors where you request it
• As the team grows, you will manage, mentor and create career paths for them in a supportive and encouraging environment that reflects the values of the company

The Requirements
This exciting opportunity is yours if you:

• Are ambitious, want to take ownership over your career and want to fast-track your path into senior leadership roles
• Are currently operating as a Senior Civil Engineer ready to show what you can do or are an existing leader who is seeking more autonomy and progression
• Can demonstrate experience with relevant industry software such as DRAINS, MUSC and TUFLOW, although this position is more about the person than the specific software that you use
• Have experience of working for an engineering design consultancy within Australia and preferably in NSW
• Have full working rights in Australia
