We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading supplier of commercial and industrial construction projects across WA. This innovative Design and Construct organisation provides a complete in-house turnkey service, including design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, and ongoing support. With a strong company culture and collaborative working environment, this is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a reputable industry leader.The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating and executing projects from award to completion. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholders while ensuring high-quality outcomes. Working closely with the Managing Director and senior leadership team, the PM will play a key role in strategic decision-making and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee each project within agreed budgets and timeframes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Visit sites as required to ensure project milestones are met, quality standards are upheld, and any issues are addressed proactively.
- Maintain a strong understanding of various construction trades and their interdependencies.
- Coordinate and resolve issues related to job scope, site meetings, measurements, materials, access, equipment, pricing, and variations.
- Work closely with the Managing Director and Design Engineers to align project objectives with design intent.
- Guide the Drafting team in producing detailed production, manufacturing, and architectural shop drawings.
- Manage subcontractors for on-site installation of products.
- Oversee material procurement, ensuring accurate quantities are ordered and delivered on time.
- Lead and manage Contract Administrators, Site Managers, Drafting teams, and trade personnel.
- Ensure all stakeholders' expectations are met through clear communication and effective project management.
- Maintain OS&H standards, ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety policies.
- Take ownership of project scheduling and coordination, ensuring smooth execution and timely resolution of issues.
- Proven Project Management experience in commercial and/or structural construction.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and structural materials.
- High-level financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Professional, results-driven approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Strong computer literacy, including experience with MS Office.
