The role:
This role will be primarily responsible for assisting internal and external customers in a range of services and sales enquiries across the wide range of building products. Based at their design studio, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with service requests, order management, job scheduling for installations and deliveries;
- Maintaining detailed and current knowledge of the company’s products and services;
- Providing customers with friendly professional advice on the products;
- Ensuring that all customer enquiries are answered in a prompt and professional manner via phone, email, fax and digital channels;
- Confirming and processing call ups and service requests daily;
- Adhering to pricing Matrix and use correct pricing authority codes including confirming all pricing with customers / reps before processing an order;
- Complete returns as required ensuring that all customers are made aware of any impending changes;
- Ensure that the documentation of client’s orders and stock control are filed and kept orderly and in accordance with company procedures;
- Ensure all work areas, displays and office is maintained in a tidy, clean and presentable manner at all times;
- Prepare mail and deliver it to the post office daily;
- Assist designated Sales Representative with daily needs; and
- Provide back-up reception duties to visitors, including signing in and providing PPE for them to wear.
- A strong blend of customer service coupled with an accurate eye for detail are essential skills required for this role;
- Experience in a manufacturing / building / sales environment;
- JDE experience advantageous;
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm; and
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
