The Opportunity

You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth HR operations, providing critical support across onboarding, recruitment, payroll inquiries, WHS reporting, and HR compliance.

The Role
As an integral part of the HR team, you will be responsible for key HR processes, including:
- Managing onboarding, induction, and offboarding of employees
- Coordinating recruitment for positions that become vacant through attrition
- Providing guidance on personal HR matters as they arise
- Overseeing WHS incident reporting and liaising with relevant stakeholders
- Managing travel risk checklists for work-related travel
- Assisting with payroll inquiries and navigating the Aurion system
- Updating staff records and providing HR reporting for corporate functions
- Supporting project work related to HR policy updates and workforce planning
- Maintaining employee personnel files and processing study assistance requests
- Administering temporary acting arrangements and liaising with leadership on work arrangements
- Monitoring outstanding timesheets, excess leave balances, and flex/TOIL balances
- Updating FTE spreadsheets and providing staffing updates
- Ensuring HR checklists are completed and compliance registers are maintained
You are a proactive and detail-oriented HR professional with experience in HR operations, payroll administration, or workforce support.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Your excellent communication skills enable you to liaise confidently with employees and leadership, ensuring HR processes run smoothly.
Experience with HR systems such as Aurion, along with a strong understanding of HR policies and compliance, will be highly regarded.
Salary / Rate
- $90k - $110k + Super
- 6 Month Non-ongoing
