As a Venue Administration Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our vibrant venue, ensuring every event is a memorable success. You will make an impact by
- Converting room hire inquiries into sales and managing event contracts.
- Providing rostering support and key assistance to the Front of House (FOH) team.
- Supervising and training casual and volunteer ushers and room setters.
- Ensuring accurate processing of accounts documents and payments.
- Liaising with caterers, technical staff, and other teams to meet clients’ needs.
What you will bring
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Experience in event management or venue operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks and record-keeping.
- Ability to monitor security and follow cash handling procedures.
- Competence in preparing cleaning schedules and managing contractor payments.
