The Opportunity

Join Herbert Smith Freehills as our Front of House Supervisor , leading a dedicated team to provide exceptional hospitality services for our staff and clients. This role is central to ensuring prompt, professional, and seamless service, maintaining the high standards our firm is known for.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Client Service & Event Management : Coordinate food, beverage, and AV services for meetings, events, and off-floor catering, ensuring rooms are fully prepared and maintained to a high standard.

  • Team Supervision : Lead, train, and schedule waitstaff, including managing daily assignments, agency staff, and uniform standards.

  • Operational Coordination : Use booking software to manage resource allocation and ensure effective service coverage. Support Café operations by covering breaks and absences as needed.

  • Food Safety & Compliance : Actively uphold RSA and food safety practices, ensuring team compliance with hygiene protocols and refresher courses.

  • Procurement & Financial Oversight : Oversee stock management and vendor quality, process invoices, and assist with budget tracking and financial reporting

To be successful in this position you will:

  • Relevant trade or Hospitality tertiary qualifications

  • Current RSA and Food Handlers certification

  • Microsoft suite proficiency

  • Proven experience in managing front of house operations

  • Full Australian working rights are required for this role.
