The Role
Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and helping farmers succeed? As a Robotics Support Technician at SwarmFarm Robotics, you'll be at the heart of ensuring customer satisfaction and the success of our autonomous farming equipment.
This role, based in Emerald , is all about being the first point of contact for our customers, helping them troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and escalating to the right team when needed. We're looking for someone who thrives on solving problems and delivering excellent service.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing prompt, efficient software and hardware support to customers via multiple channels, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
- Proactively monitoring robot uptime and operational data, reporting faults, stats, and trends to the Portfolio Manager.
- Acting as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, using strong problem-solving skills and log analysis to identify and fix issues.
- Managing incoming customer tickets, offering timely solutions and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Working closely with the product development team to enhance the reliability and uptime of our robots.
- Documenting and escalating issues by collecting and organising relevant log data to streamline internal communication.
- Using troubleshooting techniques to minimise downtime and maximise customer productivity.
- Promoting SwarmFarm products and services.
- Assisting with training and providing ongoing support to ensure customers succeed with our technology.
- Contributing to improving processes and creating helpful documentation.

- A knack for problem-solving, with strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux is a bonus.
- A background in customer service, with a passion for helping people.
- Enthusiasm for agricultural machinery and all things mechanical or electrical.
- Patience and the ability to work through tough problems, whether over the phone or on-site.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Self-motivated, with excellent time management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with farmers and teammates alike.
