As the Head of Product, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap across our SaaS payroll and HR Solutions. This includes both modern and legacy platforms, with a clear strategy for integration, migration, and commercial optimisation.

A key component of this role will be identifying opportunities to expand our portfolio, whether through organic product development, strategic acquisitions, or the adoption of emerging technology to enhance our solutions across our core industry verticals. You will work closely with the Leadership team to assess market opportunities and drive product-led growth through new capabilities, AI-driven automation, and integration strategies that improve efficiency and customer experience.

You will lead a cross-functional team of Product Managers and Business Analysts & UX, ensuring that our product suite delivers a seamless, end-to-end experience for customers while maximising commercial outcomes. A hands-on approach is required due to the relatively small but high-impact team.

Experience & Skills required

• 10+ years in product leadership roles within SaaS, in payroll and HR tech.
• Proven experience in assessing acquisition opportunities and working with executives to evaluate strategic investments.
• Strong commercial mindset – able to balance customer needs, AI-driven innovation, and revenue growth.
• Proven track record of presenting to executives and/or boards, with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Strong understanding of customer personas in payroll and HR from medium business users to larger enterprise HR/payroll teams.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey product strategies, updates, and insights to executives, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience leading and scaling cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers.
• Technical acumen to guide AI adoption, integration strategies, and product-led growth initiatives.
• Experience managing a portfolio of both modern and legacy platforms, including commercial strategies for migration and churn management.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor product performance, interpret data, and make informed decisions to optimise product success.
