ICN Victoria is an independent organisation supported by the Victorian Government, working for local industry since 1984. We were founded on the principle that local businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, should be given full and fair opportunities to compete for work on major projects, aided by local capability considerations. In turn, this helps create jobs by encouraging industry to first think local, social and sustainable in all procurement decisions.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance of storytelling through marketing and ultimately someone who wants to keep learning and growing.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager this role will:
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure content meets broader campaign objectives
• Develop creative social media digital content including carousels, short videos for LinkedIn
• Design and prepare artwork for all marketing collateral, annual reports, industry reports, email marketing, submissions, presentations, proposals and tenders
• Photography, videography and graphic design
• Ability to edit long form content such as case study stories and videos
• Ability to capture content, including short interviews, with the end result in mind i.e. shoot to edit
• Strong copywriting ability in order to creatively ‘caption’ content plus summarise key points for each relevant platform and audience
• Proficient in English and confident with sentence structure, grammar and punctuation
• Post-production experience using editing software/programs (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom)
• Competent in using all relevant social platform specific content creation tools
• Report on LinkedIn campaigns and content performance
• Update website content
Required Experience and Skills
• Degree Qualification: Digital, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design
• Minimum 3 years experience
• Strong skills in the Adobe suite
• Video shooting and editing experience
• Solid experience in creating LinkedIn carousels, reels, stories, videos and photos
• An eye for creativity and a demonstrated understanding of visual brand identity and graphic design
• Excellent technical skills including experience with WordPress, CRM Platforms, marketing automation platforms, social media platforms, Microsoft Office, Mailchimp or similar, Canva
• Experience in illustration design will be highly regarded.
• Experience in social media management
• Strong understanding of key social media platforms and how to best position and release content
• Experience with web design and development (preferred, not essential)
