TTMI is a locally owned and operated Farm Machinery dealership operating from Melbourne’s South East, South West, New South Wales border, and Tasmanian region in 7 locations, Trafalgar, Maffra, Leongatha, Warrnambool, Colac, Longford (TAS) and Latrobe (TAS).
We sell, service and support Case IH tractors and machinery along with many other quality products, from Kuhn, Samasz, Croplands and Aitchison, to name a few. Overview
Our Trafalgar branch is searching for a Service Manager that contributes greatly to the company’s overall success by generating sales, controlling productivity and efficiency and planning promotions while seeking out new sales opportunities. They provide control, expertise, training, and act as a liaison internally within the dealership and externally to business partners and our customers. To provide professional, efficient support and to identify and resolve all issues in an approach consistent with the company’s values.
As a member of the Management team everything that is done must be based around continuous improvement whilst maintaining our values.
Principal Accountabilities
To maintain the Service Department at a professional standard in terms of safety, cleanliness and general working environment
Develop effective processes for clocking on/off Repair Orders (ROs) per line and job card
Develop effective processes for completion of ROs from appointment to invoice
Monitor current customer base and recommend strategies to attain incremental business and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction
Ensure effective training standards for all employees are in place for a rolling 6 months with 12 month objectives
Participate and contribute to the on-going development of the WHS system and take all reasonable steps to protect one’s own and other’s health and safety
Comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines and take corrective action when necessary in the performance of daily tasks
Assist in the dealership managing to a high level the asset and moral of our staff.
Any other duty of a lawful nature as directed
Personal Requirements
Experience in a service operations environment in a managerial or supervisory role within a Passenger/Commercial vehicles or Agricultural industry
Have effective sales techniques
Strong customer focus and is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services
Mechanical aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Intermediate level computer literacy
A willingness to change with technology; ability and willingness to learn new systems as they arise
