About us
The Mulberry Group is a Melbourne-based hospitality group founded in 2011 by Nathan Toleman. Since then The Mulberry Group has opened venues including Hazel, Dessous, Liminal, Lilac Wine, Heide Kitchen, Square One Coffee Roasters, Molli and Lt. Molli, and our regenerative agricultural farm and charity, Common Ground Project. Across our venues we now have a team of over 190 amazing people, and counting.

About the role
As a Cafe Cook, reporting to the Head Chef, you will:
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes, following our café’s menu and specials.
- Ensure food presentation meets our high standards of quality.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver excellent customer service.
- Assist in stock control, inventory, and ordering of ingredients.
- Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring food safety and hygiene practices are maintained.
About you
You’ll have:
- Proven experience as a cook in a café or restaurant environment.
- Passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and innovative cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a high-volume kitchen.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
