Our Compliance team is now seeking a Compliance Manager to play a critical role in our organisation.
What awaits you?
- You will be responsible for developing, setting up, maintaining and operating an effective local Compliance Management System in accordance with the Compliance headquarter functions and local legal requirements.
- You will be responsible for guiding the business on compliance and regulatory requirements, supporting the establishment of standards and implementing procedures to ensure that the compliance programs are effective and efficient.
- You will be responsible for applying compliance instruments to ensure an effective Compliance Management System and to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
- You will provide project support as a compliance expert in areas including but not limited to Antitrust Compliance, Conflict of Interest Management and External Workforce Compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
- A tertiary qualification in Business/Commerce/Law or related discipline is required.
- Proven experience within the Automotive Finance industry, Financial Services industry or in a Compliance function necessary.
- Strong working knowledge of NCCP, Anti-Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Financing, Antitrust, Privacy, Modern Slavery, Fraud Management and Consumer Law.
- Demonstrated knowledge of compliance concepts, practices, principles and procedure with a developed understanding of compliance obligations, emerging changes, issues and opportunities in financial services.
- Possess the ability to interpret and provide advice on the implementation of various laws and regulations.
