Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) in accordance with approval processes
  • Maintain an accurate record of PO's, invoices, test certificates, bills of lading, and any other relevant information/documents pertaining to inbound deliveries
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery, escalating issues as necessary
  • Liaise with warehouse teams to manage the receipting of inbound deliveries
  • Address and resolve invoice vs. PO discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Generate, maintain, and distribute backorder reports to corresponding suppliers
  • Monitor products on backorder and follow up on outstanding items
  • Provide regular reports to Internal Partners on supplier delivery status and key procurement metrics
  • Identify trends or issues in backorder patterns and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure purchasing and shipping records are accurately maintained and easily accessible
  • Continuously evaluate Supplier delivery times processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required


Requirements

  • Proven experience in purchasing, logistics and/or supply chain
  • Familiarity with shipping processes and related documentation
  • Knowledge of purchase order systems and supplier management
  • Strong proficiency in excel and exposure to ERP systems
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external partners, customer focused
  • Proactive, team player, knows own strengths, and out of the box thinker
