About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Spray painter to join our client’s team in the rail industry. As a Spray painter, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper application of paint and coatings on rail vehicles, components, and related parts, ensuring a high standard of finish and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces and materials for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking.
  • Apply paint and coatings using spray painting equipment on rail cars, locomotives, and parts.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Always follow environmental and safety procedures.
  • Maintain spray painting equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Work closely with other team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.

Key Requirements:
  • Trade Certification in Spray painting
  • Proven experience as a Spray painter, preferably in the rail or automotive industry.
  • Ability to work with various paint types, including primers, topcoats, and clear coats.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards in painting and coating processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and high-quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
