Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and motivated UX/UI Design Intern who is experienced in Figma to help design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for our platform. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with the development and product teams to translate ideas into high-quality user experiences. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful project while sharpening your skills in a dynamic startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma based on user needs and business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces
- Translate complex ideas and user flows into simple, clear, and attractive design solutions
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to refine designs and improve usability
- Ensure a consistent and cohesive visual design across all platforms and devices
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of the design
- Stay updated on the latest UX/UI design trends, techniques, and tools
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Figma with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills
- Understanding of UX principles, including user research, user flows, and wireframing
- Strong knowledge of UI design best practices, including typography, color theory, and layout
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take constructive feedback and iterate on designs accordingly
- Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, especially in articulating design choices and concepts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, or similar)
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) to collaborate effectively with developers
- Familiarity with creating responsive and mobile-first designs
- Knowledge of design systems and maintaining consistency across platforms
- Passion for improving user experiences and a keen eye for clean and impactful design
