Delivery Driver
As a Delivery Driver with First Choice Couriers, you’re the friendly face of our organisation, ensuring every delivery and collection is a positive experience. Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries and pickups, ensuring each is completed accurately and on time.
- Safely load, lift, and carry goods throughout the shift.
- Provide friendly, professional service during all customer interactions.
- Use scanning equipment to process freight according to established procedures and policies.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Conduct regular checks for accuracy and assist with tracking and tracing as needed.
- Uphold company safety standards, contributing to a safe and cooperative work environment.
Skills
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to organise and complete deliveries efficiently.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate handling, scanning and processing of goods.
- Clear communication skills, providing friendly service and updates to customers as needed.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift, carry and move heavier shipments.
- Proficiency in using scanning equipment and following established security procedures.
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team, adapting to daily demands.
- Familiarity with safe driving practices and basic knowledge of local routes.
