OUR ROLE
As a sensational ServiceNow Senior Technical Consultant , you’ll join our growing ServiceNow Capability and work with a diverse team, doing rad work for interesting projects. We’re working to change the way our clients think about their work and the ServiceNow platform.
We do whatever we can to drive the best possible outcome for our customers – and that means you’ll have the opportunity work across different parts of the software development life cycle.
As our Senior Technical Consultant, you’ll represent xAmplify to our clients during requirements gathering and design phases, as well as helping to structure the delivery of the solution through to the client.
Sure, there’ll be a lot of ServiceNow configuration and testing – but we like to get involved in everything from early-stage demonstrations and proof-of-concepts, to hosting requirements workshops, helping work on solution designs and test planning, through to deployment and hyper care activities.

KEY ELIGIBILITY
xAmplify partners with a diverse client base, including Federal Government, Defense, Enterprise, State Government, and Private Sector. As a result, our eligibility criteria may vary depending on the projects you may undertake.
Our Federal Government and Defence Security Projects will require:
• Australian Citizenship
• An active Baseline (or higher) security clearance, or the ability to obtain one
Our Enterprise, State Government, and Private Sector Projects will require:
• Full Australian working rights, which can include an appropriate visa

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
At xAmplify, we look for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and bring a passion for technology, problem-solving, and collaboration.
For your ServiceNow platform expertise, we’re looking for you to demonstrate your knowledge in:
- At least 3 years of ServiceNow administration and development experience – ideally in multiple environments. It’s hard to beat time on the tools.
- For our senior role, we consider ServiceNow System Administrator mandatory – with additional certifications like CIS or CAD mandatory.
- You likely have solid experience in tech development, working with various languages and technologies such as: HTML, CSS, Angular, HTTP, REST and SOAP communication protocols, working with SSL or designing authentication setups SAML 2.0 – let us know!
- We like working across the entire SDLC – so if you’ve got experience defining ServiceNow requirements, building solution design documentation, or running functional workshops in an agile way, it’d be great to know about it.
- If you’ve got experience with practice/process frameworks such as ITIL, ISO standards, IT4IT, and the like – whilst not mandatory for the role, would be fantastic to have on board
- We’re building a high-trust, high-expectation culture within our team, aiming to help people work however the work most effectively for our clients – and that means you’ll need excellent verbal & written communication skills, a high level of organisation and time management with the ability to work proactively and autonomously in a deadline-driven environment.
LOCATION
We’re flexible! If you’re in Canberra or Sydney you’ll have the ability to connect with us in person (whilst also getting the balance to work from home), but we are also open to candidates in locations across the Australian East Coast.
