ORS is growing and we'd like you to join our NDIS division and make a meaningful difference.
In this role, you’ll work with participants aged 0-65, delivering clinical services across early intervention, school-age, adolescent, and adult clients with diverse presentations, diagnoses, and disability types. You'll play a vital role in your clients' personal growth and development, supporting them to achieve their goals and celebrating their progress every step of the way!
The type of nutritional assessments, counselling, education, support and planning you will provide include:
- Healthy eating for people with a range of mental and/or physical disabilities
- Healthy eating principles around mindfulness eating and/or chronic health conditions: Diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, IBS, IBD etc
- Meal Time Management plans
- Fussy eating plans
- Tube feed plans
- Meal plans
- Eating disorders
You will work across various environments, including family homes, disability group homes, day programs, schools, preschools, community settings, telehealth and ORS offices.
You will have access to administration and IT support, Foodzilla- Online Meal Planning software, Medication and Nutrition database, online resources, Education In Nutrition (EIN), internal and external professional development opportunities, the opportunity for clinical specialisation as well as career progression.

A few requirements:
- Membership with the Dietitians Australia (Registered APD)
- 1+ years of Dietetics experience working with NDIS participants in a clinical or community setting (preferred)
- Strong passion to enable people with disabilities to reach their goals and aspirations
- Some knowledge and experience in disability, paediatric nutrition and NDIS
- A car and driver’s licence
- A National Police Clearance, Working with Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to acquire one for client facing roles (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
