The Role
As the Project Management Office Coordinator , you will oversee the council’s project management framework, ensuring projects are effectively planned, delivered, monitored, and evaluated. This role is critical in maintaining strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across a diverse program of works.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the council’s Project Management Office (PMO) , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and report on project performance, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Develop and enhance project delivery standards, ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Support and mentor project managers across all phases of project lifecycles.
- Provide governance and assurance , ensuring risk and issue management is proactively addressed.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, driving successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with the council’s project management framework and procurement processes.

Key Requirements
