- We are currently recruiting for multiple Chef’s across various locations, however you will need to get yourself to Toowoomba as it is Drive in Drive out from Toowoomba!
Being a Camp Cook at VNG means you will be:
- Preparation and service of food as required
- Plan the menu and prepare tasty, fresh and wholesome food tailored to your clients.
- Assist the client in maintaining and driving a safe working culture.
- Work to meet food-cost targets & other initiatives
- Be part of and lead a small team that works effectively together every day.
- Take ownership of the wellbeing of your peers, customers and others in the camp.
The Camp Cook must possess attributes including:
- Safety focused
- Excellent communication
- Team-minded
- Attention to detail
To be considered you MUST have:
- Trade qualifications with minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Minimum 2 year experience in resources service related industry
- Workplace Health and Safety Standards relevant to food, mining, oil and gas
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Current Food Safety Standards
- A National Police Clearance (valid within 3 months)
- Valid full drivers licence (manual)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- PMASUP236 Valid Operate Vehicles in Field (4WD) certification (minimum 6 months validity)
- All applicants will need to complete a Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
