Description:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory accounting, including stock valuation and reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documents.
- Provide reports and analysis on sales, expenses, and other key financial metrics.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Manage and track operating expenses (OPEX), ensuring costs are within budget and identifying areas for cost-saving.
- Support the audit process by providing necessary documentation and information.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
Requirements:
- 1- 2 years experience as an Assistant Accountant
- Background working in retail-or FMCG industry
- Working towards CPA/ CA
- Ability to work as a team player, able to collaborate with other work streams and to help develop compliant and operationally practical solutions regarding technical matters
