Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our mobile clinical team, supporting adults in residential aged care and the community.

  • Provide dysphagia and communication assessment and intervention for adults.
  • Open to permanent part-time (PPT) applicants, with opportunities to support Plena’s Speech Pathology Telehealth Clinic.
  • Suitable for both recent graduates and experienced clinicians.

Reporting to your state-based Speech Pathology Team Leader, you will deliver high-quality mobile Speech Pathology services to adults living with conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, post-stroke impairments, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Managing your own schedule—choose the work hours and locations that suit you.
  • Assessing and diagnosing swallowing and communication difficulties.
  • Providing telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
  • Collaborating with a national team of Speech Pathologists.
  • Advocating for clients with communication difficulties.
  • Working closely with care staff, support coordinators, and Plena colleagues to ensure optimal care.
  • Providing consultative and educational support to clients, families, and colleagues.
